Since the Store Page Launch: Preparing the Demo

Hello, we're SNACCC Studio.

Since our store page launched on August 5, we've been focused on preparing the demo.

Aiming a little earlier than first planned

At first, we aimed to release the demo in time for Steam Next Fest in October. There was no special plan or strategy behind that timing. It was simply a very conservative schedule, based on our judgment that October would give us enough time to prepare it without rushing.

In any case, we're now working toward releasing it earlier than that.

More than a 30-minute preview

We don't think limiting the demo to a short experience of around 30 minutes would suit this genre. That's why we want to showcase as much of the full game's content and as many of its mechanics as possible. We plan to structure the demo so you can experience a flow similar to the full game, including its core content and the opening of Story Mode.

Here's something that happened during playtesting

In a resource-rich, high-risk area, we encountered another survivor AI fighting a Missing Link. It begged for its life, so we spared it—only for it to shoot us in the back at the extraction point. That felt pretty unfair.

But we're designing the game so that even situations that seem unfair can be handled if you stay alert, and overcoming them can earn you greater rewards.

We'll keep sharing our progress with everyone waiting for the demo. Thank you.
