Todays' quick update is just to add:
Playback performance improvements for tutorial videos
After watching some playthroughts online I realized our sweet new video tutorials were so laggy they might as well still be still images! So I did some digging and discovered every single tutorial video was starting and looping playback simultaneously whenever you watched one of them. Obviously not the intended behaviour, so that's been fixed!
Jotpad position storage resets if you take it off screen
Playtesters discovered a fascinating little issue where you could lose your Jotpad forever if you moved it onto a second monitor. The game now checks to see if the last place you had your Jotpad open was outside the bounds of the game, and if so it resets it to the default starting Jotpad position instead of re-opening it where you last left it. Yay!
More dialog added!
You still only have until the end of day one in the demo, but there are now several more directions you can explore during your time with the suspects! Future updates will continue to add more discoverable dialog as we work towards the full amount of dialog that will be in the finished game, but you will only be able to access four of the six suspects. If you want to talk to them all, you'll need to wait for the full game to come out!
