Hello detectives,
We’re happy to share an important development milestone: The Scarlet Thread is now content-complete.
The full narrative, investigation puzzles, Secret Boards, notebook deductions, collectible sketches, multiple endings, and Steam achievements have all been implemented. Selected Steam Curators are now being invited to play the complete pre-release build while we carry out the final round of testing and polish.
Our current focus is on:
• improving UI readability across all supported languages;
• checking puzzle clarity and progression throughout a complete playthrough;
• resolving any remaining bugs;
• completing final Steam platform checks, including cloud-save testing.
The Scarlet Thread is a narrative mystery set in a Victorian manor. Players examine letters and records, reconstruct timelines, connect evidence, and decide which conclusions they are willing to stand behind. We want every deduction to feel earned—and every ambiguity to feel intentional.
