Three New Languages, 108 Revised Biographies & Clearer UI

Three new languages, four ways to play

The update is now live on Steam. Alongside the existing Simplified Chinese, you can now play in Traditional Chinese, English, or Japanese. Switch languages at the top left of the main menu or at the top of Settings. Menus, objectives, skill descriptions, and character biographies follow your selection.

Revisiting all 108 Liangshan heroes

We have revised all 108 biographies against the 120-chapter edition of Water Margin, checking identities, how the heroes joined Liangshan, major events, and their endings. Each biography lists the relevant chapters of the novel. The revised biographies are available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.

The codex and chapter selection also distinguish the novel's accounts from game adaptations, including combat abilities, stats, additional troop types, scenario structure, and dialogue.

Clearer reading and controls

• Improved wrapping and scrolling in menus, objective panels, the codex, and results screens.
• Adjusted editor toolbars and name and value columns to accommodate longer translated names.
• Kept custom names exactly as entered and corrected interface labels and terminology.

Update the game, choose your language, and revisit the stories behind your favorite heroes.
