Each multiplayer player can now set their own personal difficulty the first time they play as Attacker, applied whenever they're later the Defender, so two players of different skill levels can each get the challenge that's right for them instead of sharing one difficulty for the whole run.
The Attacker can now spend their upgrade budget directly on the Stage 1, 2, or 3 boss itself, not just on regular minions.
The Attacker can now re-pick their full ability loadout at every stage advance, instead of it being locked in for the whole run.
Each ability on the Attacker's ability-selection screen now shows a short description of what it does.
A 3-2-1 countdown now plays before every multiplayer battle starts, so the Defender isn't thrown straight into a falling piece the instant setup finishes.
The "Multiplayer save detected" popup can now be closed with an X button, instead of forcing you to pick Continue or New Run.
Fixes
Fixed an intermittent bug where a piece could shift on its own with no input during local co-op multiplayer.
Fixed rebinding Hold Piece or Open Gem Bag to the same button silently wiping the other action's binding.
Fixed the Attacker's roaming-slime toy rendering behind relic icons and text on some screens.
Fixed both "Keep Playing" and "Swap Roles" showing a focus highlight at once on multiplayer event result screens for controller players, even though Swap Roles is mouse-only.
Fixed local co-op Precision, Blindspot, and Perfect Clear locking the controller player (the Attacker) out of all input, including pause.
Fixed "Continue" on the multiplayer save-detected popup silently starting a new run instead of resuming.
Fixed the NEXT-piece preview getting stuck outside its own box, with nothing explaining why, when the Attacker's board stopped during a multiplayer race event.
Fixed an unreadable stack-count badge on enemy upgrade icons.
Fixed Perfect Clear sometimes ending the moment the Defender ran out of pieces, even if the Attacker might still have solved it themselves; also fixed a doubled-looking NEXT queue for the Attacker.
Fixed Precision, Blindspot, and Perfect Clear's own info panels overlapping the Attacker's board.
Fixed "Prepare the Enemy" being able to soft-lock entirely on a boss fight with no minions to upgrade (Stage 3).
Fixed the Attacker's ability panel showing a stale highlighted ability after switching focus to their own board.
