Happy Friday, Partiers!
House Party 1.5.2.14175 is live!
We’ve brought another round of design and engine improvements back to House Party from our ongoing work on Office Party. This update brings a redesigned console command system, smarter controller handling, and a batch of gameplay, UI, localization, performance, and stability improvements.
Using console commands no longer means remembering every option and its exact formatting. Commands can now be built using dropdown menus, searchable choices, and clearer toggle states, making the available options easier to explore while cutting down on typos.

If you know the old system and prefer typing commands by hand, check the Legacy option and keep using it as before.
Some non-gamepad controllers—such as virtual joysticks and similar devices—can send unwanted input and interfere with keyboard or gamepad controls.
House Party now automatically disables newly detected non-gamepad controllers and displays a notice explaining exactly what was disabled.

Open Input Settings > Controller Status at any time to review detected controllers and enable or disable them individually. Your choices are saved automatically.
