Three quick questions about your first Epoch session

Hey—Chris here. I don’t want to guess what your first hour in Epoch felt like.

If you opened the playtest—even if you only made it through setup—could you answer three quick questions in the comments?

1. What did you try to do first?

2. What was the first thing that confused you or slowed you down?

3. Did you keep anything you would actually use?

Yes, no, or not sure—and what kind of thing was it? Please don’t include the actual story text.

If you haven’t opened Epoch yet, that is useful too: what stopped you?

Time, installation, model downloads, not knowing where to begin, or something else?

One or two sentences is enough. You don’t need to be nice; you need to be honest.

You’re testing Epoch.

Epoch isn’t testing you.

Please don’t post manuscript excerpts, prompts, API keys, project files, private file paths, images, or audio. If something crashed—or you think work disappeared—tell me what you were trying to do and the visible error, then email [email protected] so we can handle it without exposing your book.

Thanks for giving an unfinished thing some of your time. I read every reply.

— Chris
