The game now marks the flag of footballers called up to the national team for previous matches with a star. This lets you easily distinguish international players from others, both in your own club and when viewing other teams.
Balance
We have slightly increased the "attentiveness" of AI club scouts when viewing your team's footballers. As a result, if scouts do not find suitable footballers during a regular review of your squad, they can now take a more detailed look. This increases the likelihood of clubs finding players they like. However, we do not force clubs to buy players they do not need. You will only receive offers if clubs find suitable footballers at the right price.
Previously, rookie goalkeepers could only develop into universal classes. Now, you can also train a rookie goalkeeper into specialised classes. This freedom is also available to AI teams.
Previously, if a mod used a custom surnames file, all Premier League footballers would only share the local nationality, with no foreign players. This restriction has now been removed. Regardless of whether a custom surnames file is used, foreign players will be generated with the same settings as in the unmodified game.
We have made adjustments to the formation selection system so that it tries not to disrupt your custom formation during match simulation or viewing if an injury or red card occurs.
Bug Fixes
On the board expectations screen under certain circumstances, the penalty for an unhappy board was displayed with a plus sign instead of a minus.
During matches, rookie goalkeepers did not receive the +10% control bonus.
When preparing for a new season, the squad could change randomly under certain circumstances.
We previously arranged for the higher-ranked team to be the home team in the group stage of the national team final tournament. Unfortunately, this change also slipped into the qualification stage. In existing campaigns, this will be fixed starting from the next national team tournament.
If the player's team dropped from the second continental tournament into the third, the calendar still displayed matches from the second cup.
The "All Footballers" club statistics did not show players who were away on international duty at that moment.
The "Most Important Match of the Season" achievement could be unlocked if the opponent motivated their team instead of you doing so.
The email celebrating a victory in the third continental cup was sent by the old manager instead of the club president.
If a manager has the nationality of a country from one continent but coaches a national team from another continent, some emails used the manager's continent in the tournament name for the continental championship.
