THE BUREAU IS ACCEPTING PROVISIONAL CONTRACTS
A demo is now posted. It is free, it is the real machine, and it runs the first two strata: THE FILL and THE OLD SEA.
You will crew THE MULE, a church-sized drilling machine, and take it down. You will man its instruments, seal its door, and walk out into the dark for the specimens the Bureau calls the tribute. Built for a crew of two to four on proximity voice, and it runs solo if nobody answers the call. No weapons. Light, noise and nerve.
WHAT IS IN THE DEMO
- The whole loop: the surface depot, the drilling minigame, the sortie, the sell counter, the winch out
- Bands one and two of four, with their own creatures and their own specimens
- Online co-op built for two to four, with proximity voice that some things hunt by. Solo works too: an auto-crew runs the machine
- Full controller support, and it plays on Steam Deck
FULL CONTROLLER AND STEAM DECK
Every verb is on the pad, including the menus, the Stores and the cabin stations. Prompts follow the device in your hands rather than assuming a keyboard. On a Steam Deck the game picks its own display and frame targets on the first boot, and the on-screen keyboard comes up on its own wherever a field wants text. Remap whatever you like through Steam Input, back grips included.
