🌸 Sakura Over Five Waters
Update 0.2.6 brings a new Japan-inspired fishing adventure to One More Fishing: five permanent waters, 40 new fish, a long story questline, event progression, Steam rankings, and the legendary Sakura Tanuki.
🗾 Five new Japanese waters
• Visit five new fishing locations from level 5.
• Event routes do not require a ticket.
• Each water features its own day and night atmosphere, animated water, drifting sakura petals, Japanese music, and ambient river sounds.
• The new waters and their story remain available after the celebration.
🐟 40 new fish
• Discover 32 regular species and 8 unusual rare fish.
• Each water contains 12 available species.
• Every fish has its own weight range, preferred bait, value, trophy thresholds, and quest conditions.
📜 A 20-quest story
Meet Aoi, Daichi, and Mei and complete a sequential questline designed to provide around 40 hours of fishing challenges.
Objectives include total catches, combined weight, specific species, qualifying catches, bait requirements, and achievable weight ranges.
Quest rewards include experience, silver, gold, tonus, skill points, and large packs of event bait.
🎁 250 event baits
A one-time event letter grants 250 thematic baits: 50 of each of the five event bait types. No lures or other tackle are included in this gift.
🏆 Event progress and Steam ranking
• Every qualifying fish caught at one of the five event waters grants 3 event points.
• Progress rewards unlock at event-point milestones and can be claimed once.
• Complete the main objective of 300 qualifying catches to finish the event track.
• After completing the track, further qualifying catches continue to increase your Steam ranking.
• The ranking contains real Steam players only — no bots, NPCs, or simulated results.
🦝 Final reward: Sakura Tanuki
Complete the main event objective to receive:
• 500 gold
• The legendary Sakura Tanuki pet
• +8% experience from catches
• +4% chance to preserve bait
The Sakura Tanuki includes its own themed presentation, animation, and sound.
✨ Improvements and fixes
• Tournament duels now require a suitable water with qualifying fish.
• Your selected water is preserved when entering a location.
• Pets, pet pairs, and equipment presets can be changed or removed while fishing.
• Rewards, quest progress, unlocked waters, and pet selection save correctly.
• Several portraits, fish, decorations, floating objects, and water animations have been corrected.
• Long map and location titles no longer overlap nearby controls.
Existing saves remain compatible with the update.
