First of all, thank you so much to everyone who checked out our demo during Wholesome Games Celebration!
With our release date approaching, we’ve decided to disable the demo as we prepare for the full launch. As we’ve continued working on the game, we’ve made several changes, including adding a couple of new mechanics, some of which are based directly on your feedback.
Because these changes substantially affect the beginning of the game, we can now confirm that demo save files will not carry over to the full game. The old save files would no longer be technically compatible with the updated version of the game. And even if they could be carried over, players who’ve already experienced the demo would miss the newly added beginning, including the prologue and introductions to the new mechanics and tools.
You can still enjoy the demo for one more week, it will be disabled on August 26.
