A ground-up overhaul of the new-player experience — with the simulation untouched.
- NEW: "I'm New — Guide Me" mode: a guided first term that teaches by governing, never by railroading. One toggle, fully optional, off by default for veterans.
- Country selection: search, region filters, difficulty ratings derived from each nation's real starting position, recommended first nations, and every country's challenges, opportunities, and suggested playstyles.
- Day one is alive: an inaugural briefing of your inherited nation, your choice of 2-4 National Priorities tracked against real metrics, and starting-position summaries where empty screens used to be.
- Every term explained: 30-entry glossary wired into tooltips everywhere, every decision-card effect labeled with its scale and meaning, "?" help on all 86 screens.
- Diplomatic honeymoon: allies no longer summon a months-old government into their wars (returns after month 4; off in hardcore).
- Safety without limits: war declarations, alliance exits, debt defaults, and martial law now show their real consequences before one confirming click. Nothing is ever blocked.
- "What should I look at?" — ranked, explained suggestions across every ministry, always optional.
- For everyone: crisper visual hierarchy, previously hidden monthly-report metrics restored, the alert inbox finally on the nav, and nine long-standing bugs fixed.
- For veterans: with guidance off, the simulation is verified bit-for-bit identical to before.
