Hello everyone, Kabloop here. I hope you're all well! This is just a quick update on DIGGERGUN.
As of the 12th May patch, DIGGERGUN has been updated to finally fix Steam Achievements!
Whilst achievements have been in the game since launch, there have been numerous issues with their implementation, including them crashing some users' games. Due to their instability, Steam Achievements had been confined to another build path on Steam, so that those who sought them out could still do so.
Well, no more! Now, Steam Achievements are available for everyone!
So, what do you need to do to access Steam Achievements in DIGGERGUN? Nothing! Steam Achievements are available on the default install path, so just install the game normally and play away.
I do apologise for the delay; it took some reformatting of the code for Steam Achievements and using another implementation method in my game engine to get them to work in DIGGERGUN.
With Steam Achievements available, and a variety of other quality-of-life fixes patched in over the recent months, now is a great time to pick up the game or… start a new playthrough (have you saved Oliva and her friends yet?)!
