This update further improves the Demo maps, trap mechanics, survivor skills, equipment system, and new player experience, while also introducing some brand-new gameplay content.
Different maps now feature their own unique traps, so be extra careful while exploring!
After triggering the trap, you will take 1 point of true damage every time you search a room.
After triggering the trap, all equipment effects will temporarily become inactive.
⚠️ Traps and negative status effects will reset whenever you enter a new floor.
If you accidentally trigger a trap, remember to leave the current floor as soon as possible!
Each survivor now has a clearer and more distinctive special role!
When you trigger a Pitfall Trap, the Nurse will immediately restore some of your HP.
When you trigger a Pitfall Trap, the P.E. Teacher will immediately reveal 10 tiles for you.
During this process, even if other traps are encountered, you will not be affected by their corresponding negative status effects.
All equipment is now divided into three quality tiers:
Common → Uncommon → Rare
Higher-quality equipment comes with stronger attributes, providing more room for growth in both exploration and combat!
Once danger is discovered, the trap warning will now be displayed directly on its own tile.
You no longer need to pick up supplies before seeing danger warnings, allowing you to identify risks earlier and adjust your exploration route in time.
When a skill cannot be used, the game will now clearly tell you the specific reason, such as:
🔒 Skill not unlocked yet
⚡ Not enough energy
🎒 Required item not equipped
No more wondering, “Why can't I use my skill?”!
If an exploration attempt fails, 50% of the supplies you are currently carrying will be deducted as a penalty.
But don't worry too much—through Survivor Talents, you will later be able to reduce the penalty level for failed explorations.
To help new players become familiar with the game more easily:
Pitfall Traps will no longer appear on the first map.
The first map will only retain its map-specific traps, allowing everyone to get familiar with the basic exploration mechanics before facing more complex dangers!
“Whirlwind Slash” has now been adjusted into an AOE area-of-effect attack skill.
The skill will randomly attack monsters that have already been discovered, and monsters are no longer required to be in adjacent positions.
Clearing discovered enemies during exploration is now much more convenient!
The visual effects of supplies with different quality levels have been improved.
You can now distinguish item quality more intuitively, making important supplies easier to spot!
Dating locations no longer use the same unified supply requirement.
They now use a tiered unlock system:
👉 The first dating location requires fewer supplies and is easier to unlock;
👉 As more dating locations become available, the unlock requirements will increase accordingly.
We hope everyone can experience the interaction content between survivors even earlier!
Thank you all for your continued support, playtesting, and feedback. We will continue improving the game based on your suggestions, and after trying the update, feel free to let us know which new feature is your favorite!
