From now on, we’ll be sharing exclusive development content right here on Discord — behind-the-scenes progress, systems we’re working on, and things you won’t see anywhere else.
So, let’s head underground. ⛏️
Once coal is mined, it needs to make its way back to the shaft. In BERGWERK, you build and manage that entire transport network yourself.
Lay the tracks, set the junctions, and decide how your mine operates.
You can drive locomotives yourself and haul the coal, or plan routes and let the railway run automatically while you focus on other parts of the mine.
🔋 Battery-Electric
Quiet and completely emission-free, but requires time to recharge.
💨 Compressed Air
Completely spark-free and ideal for gas-prone workings, but has the shortest range and requires its own compressed-air network.
🛢️ Diesel
No special infrastructure required and plenty of pulling power, but produces heat and exhaust that your ventilation system needs to handle.
As the working face advances, your transport network needs to grow with it.
Build conveyor belts to move coal from active working faces and smaller branch headings onto your main train lines, use ground vehicles for flexible transport, or keep expanding your railway network.
How you build and organize your mine is entirely up to you.
We’ll be sharing more information about the demo very soon!
We’d love to hear what you think! 💬
