Changes and improvements:
The VR player controller scripts have undergone extensive optimization. Overall CPU usage has been significantly reduced, which should noticeably improve gameplay stability, especially on lower-end PCs. These optimizations were brought over to Z.O.N.A Origin from the D.E.C.A.Y. project.
Player physics processing has been improved.
Fixed an issue where placing an item into the backpack could trigger several sound effects in quick succession.
Fixed a similar issue with the backpack’s shoulder slot, which allows players to store items directly without removing the backpack. Previously, using this slot could also trigger several sound effects in quick succession.
Fixed a rare issue where objects in the game world could repeatedly disappear directly in front of the player.
Added a hit impact effect for the “Defender” monster. It is strange that I overlooked this earlier.
Further optimized the “Defender” monster: tentacle physics processing has been improved and CPU usage has been reduced.
Fixed an issue with the Sell button at the “Black Market.” Players previously reported that it could begin moving and jumping around chaotically. This should no longer happen.
Increased the rendering distance of certain items.
