[Devlog] 3. The Students of Class 2-7

Hello!

In this devlog, I would like to introduce the main characters of Class 2-7.

I think being in the same class creates a rather unique kind of relationship. Students cannot choose which class they are assigned to, but sharing a classroom can become one of the strongest connections they form at school.

Still, being classmates does not mean everyone knows each other well. Some students see each other every day but have hardly ever spoken, while even close friends may not fully understand what the other person is thinking.

How do the students of Class 2-7 see one another?

And what kinds of relationships and emotions lie between them?

Minsu

Minsu is the protagonist of 1daYs. On the day he finally decides to give a letter to the girl he likes, he instead finds himself caught up in a series of troublesome situations.

He is not someone who particularly stands out in the classroom. He is simply an ordinary second-year high school student.

Although he can occasionally be surprisingly bold, he usually keeps to himself. He spends his school days talking with the other boys or exchanging pointless jokes with his friend Hyun-woo.

He has trouble turning down requests, and he can also be a little too curious for his own good.

The decisions Minsu makes that day will be up to you.

Yeon-seo

Yeon-seo can often be found quietly reading a book in the classroom.

She is rarely seen talking with the other students, but she often chats with her best friend Ha-yoon, who sits in front of her.

Despite her usually quiet demeanor, Yeon-seo also has a surprisingly fiery side. Anyone seeing it for the first time may be surprised by how different she can seem.

Getting close to Yeon-seo may feel difficult at first. As the story progresses, however, you will gradually come to understand what kind of person she is.

Ha-yoon

Bright and charming, Ha-yoon is something of an idol among the boys of Class 2-7.

As a member of the Student Council, she is often out of the classroom during breaks and always seems to stand out wherever she goes.

She treats everyone with kindness and a cheerful smile, which makes her popular with many students. To some people, however, that same charm can become a source of jealousy.

Ha-yoon and Yeon-seo have been friends since childhood and talk about many things. Even so, they do not tell each other everything.

After all, everyone has at least one secret they would rather keep to themselves.

Hyun-woo

Hyun-woo is popular not only in Class 2-7, but throughout the entire year.

He can casually strike up a conversation with anyone and naturally joins in with the laughter around him.

It may come as a slight surprise, but he and Minsu have been best friends for many years.

They share pointless conversations as well as their more serious worries. Hyun-woo is also the friend who supports Minsu from closest by whenever he decides to do something.

His popularity means that quite a few girls have feelings for him, whether he realizes it or not.

Sometimes, however, that popularity can lead to problems he never expected.

Ji-a

Ji-a may be the most noticeable student in the class.

Much like her striking appearance, her emotions are difficult to hide. She often expresses her feelings directly or acts on them without hesitation.

Ji-a may think she is hiding it well, but the other students already know that she has feelings for Hyun-woo.

Because of this, she is wary of other girls who approach him and sometimes becomes jealous.

At the same time, Hyun-woo’s constant attempts to avoid her leave her with complicated feelings.

Her feelings for him give rise to misunderstandings, and events begin moving in a direction even Ji-a never expected.

Relationships Within the Classroom

Class 2-7 includes childhood friends, unspoken feelings, and the awkwardness that comes from not truly knowing the people around you.

Perhaps it is simply an ordinary class in an ordinary high school.

But small incidents occur, emotions are stirred, and several coincidences sometimes overlap.

No one knows what that day will eventually become.

And perhaps the events of that single day will give these students a chance to see one another a little differently.

What Comes Next

This devlog introduced the main characters of Class 2-7.

These five students are the people closest to Minsu throughout his day.

Of course, a single day is not enough to learn everything about them. As they experience various events together, however, their relationships and individual stories will gradually come to light.

I hope you will look forward to seeing how these characters transform an otherwise ordinary day at school.

In the next devlog, I will take a closer look at the gameplay of 1daYs, including exploration, conversations, and choices.

Thank you for continuing to follow the development of the game.

And, of course, adding 1daYs to your wishlist is a huge help to development.

Thank you!
