Over the past few weeks, we've been listening to your feedback and making changes to improve the overall experience. This update focuses on making exploration smoother, improving multiplayer, and preparing the demo for its final state.
The Guide Book has been completely redesigned to make rituals and objectives easier to follow while keeping the horror atmosphere intact.
A new Mind Space system has been introduced, expanding the way players interact with information throughout the investigation.
Players can now see the items their teammates are holding, making communication and teamwork much more intuitive during co-op sessions.
The tutorial system has been updated to better introduce new players to the game's mechanics without overwhelming them.
Polaroid pictures have been added to help players navigate the house more naturally while preserving the feeling of exploration.
Randomized item spawning has been removed.
While it added replayability, we found that it often made progression feel more tedious than rewarding. Items are now placed more intentionally to improve pacing and create a smoother investigation experience.
We've further optimized the networking system to provide a more stable multiplayer experience with better synchronization between players.
This isn't quite the end just yet.
The next update will introduce a reworked jumpscare system, making encounters feel more dynamic and memorable.
