While working on Games, sometimes things need a little love. Recently with Amazing Frog? 2 it had become a major priority to go through a bunch of the systems and make a bunch of fixes.
We thought it would be in the best interest of ongoing development to spend some time agressively fixing as many bugs and broken systems as we could and indeed make some system improvements.
Yes, when you shoot another player with balloon they should be able to fly, if you have played the last few versions of Amazing Frog? 2 we have been pushing it through a transition stage.
Unfortunaley, not all game development is just adding new content, Often mainterance updates like this one are critical. But at least Its Valentines! And our main focus has been the Frog Life around town and general physics stability.
Its the Valentines event until the End of Feb...
Luckily, the Valentines system also in need of some maintenence...

Gang Frogs temporaily removed
We had to look at how Frogs were spawned into the world and then managed. While they were part of a system in development, we have made a temporary break from the Motor-Bike-Helmet-Wearing-Hooligan-Gang frogs that were messing with you where ever you went in town. (Gangs will return as gangs)

So Whats Next?
Towards the latter part of 2024 we were more focused on Amazing Frog? QMMT . Certainly in this first half of 2025, I expect that we will need to continue with our primarily focus on bringing "Law and Order" to Amazing Frog? QMMT.
Its no secret that we have been working on a giant Snake for Amazing Frog?2 and indeed the arcade game system. Many aspects of Amazing Frog?2 have been in development along side QMMT. I won't go into detail, but many things we started developing some time ago and are still in active development.
While we had naturally hoped to get this giant snake terrorizing Swindon in Feburary, we found that to do justice to this system and indeed many of the other systems in Development for Amazing Frog? 2 we need to make further improvements to the game architechture including a move to Unity 6.
Expect Snakes.
