We’re very proud and excited to share a World that’s been in the works for a couple of months now. Let’s not delay any further, onto the update!
New Features
Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus Digital Twin World
This digital twin world is our most technically and visually impressive world yet, created directly in collaboration with Keio University and Softbank. The concept behind the world was to create a computational knowledge base playground — to build and expand upon the last 33 years of SFC and its projects. Students and faculty members can shape the school’s culture by treating the world as a blank canvas, but everyone is welcome to peruse, and experience a digital twin of this sophisticated and modern university campus.
Japanese Localization
MEs has been fully translated into Japanese! You can change your language between English and Japanese in the settings, and interact with MEs how you prefer!
World Controls Dropdown Menu
You can access all the world controls from a dropdown menu. This will be expanded in the future with additional functionality and options for all your handy world management.

- Audio patch Play/Pause no longer restarts the audio
- No audio rolloff when placing an audio patch

Known Issues
Placing patches in a cloud SFC World is only possible by using the Search (”Tab” key) function. Casting from the MIND will not work. A local SFC World works as expected.
Due to a Mac related update, your local worlds won’t display in the World Browser on a Mac. Cloud worlds are not affected in the same way so if you want to ensure no progress will be lost, create a Cloud World. We’re working to get this resolved as fast as possible and apologize for the inconvenience 🙇♂️
Placing Audio patches in cloud worlds can cause severe crashes. While we investigate the cause & fix it is recommended to not place any audio patches in cloud worlds for the time being.
Using AirPods on a Mac will cause MEs to crash. We are investigating this issue, but for now recommend keeping your AirPods disconnected from Mac when launching MEs.
