Hello everyone! We're excited to announce that Mazey Village will be launching in Early Access in August 2026! We've also recently refreshed our Steam page with updated screenshots, visuals, and many of the features that have been added during development. Over the past years we've been building a cozy adventure focused on exploration, village restoration, collecting, and helping a community recover after a devastating tornado. We're now at the point where the game is playable from beginning to end, and we're spending our time polishing the experience, fixing bugs, improving performance, and adding quality-of-life features.
The Early Access version will feature the complete first major event arc centered around the tornado's destruction and the rebuilding of the village. As you explore, you'll uncover clues about what happened and begin to discover that there may be more to the story than initially appears. As you reach the end of the current content, you'll also find a teaser for the next major event and the future direction of Mazey Village. Depending on your playstyle, the first act can take anywhere from a few hours to 10+ hours to complete, with exploration, side quests, collectibles, secrets, and village restoration offering plenty of optional content. Even after the main story wraps up, Mazey Village keeps moving at its own pace. Shops refresh daily with new items and opportunities, villagers often have new requests and tasks for you to complete, and various activities encourage you to keep developing your village long after completing the storyline. Combined with collecting, decorating, customization, daily quests and milestones, there are plenty of reasons to continue returning to your village.
While the core game is already playable, we want to make Mazey Village the best experience it can be. Early Access allows us to continue improving the game while working closely with the community. We'll be actively fixing bugs, improving quality-of-life features, balancing progression, and listening to player feedback.
One thing that won't change during Early Access is how closely we listen to the community. Whether you post on the Steam forums or join our Discord, we'll be actively reading feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and discussions. Some of you have already noticed that we try to respond to as many community posts as possible, and we'll continue doing exactly that throughout development.
