v3.1 -The Lives Behind the Numbers

World Order: Global Power · published 9 days ago

The biggest update since launch — nine releases of simulation depth, UI overhaul, and fixes in one patch.

THE NATION FEELS ALIVE
• Quality of Life — a national index built from income, costs, housing, health, education, safety, environment and cohesion. Both its level and its direction move approval, unrest, migration and brain drain: people notice when living standards fall, even from a high level.
• Fertility, desired vs realized — families want a number of children; housing costs, job insecurity, cost of living and working hours decide what they get. Every driver is shown with its exact contribution, and every one is policy. Ultra-low fertility is now escapable.
• Modeled household income, real income growth, and personal income share of GDP — the briefing finally answers "are people actually better off?"
• Population overview: births, deaths, natural change, migration, and 5/10/20-year projections.

THE MONTHLY BRIEFING, REBUILT
• Monthly pulse verdicts (Economy, Living Standard, Fiscal, International), featured stat cards, sparklines on every indicator, rising/falling tags with WHY lines, and World Developments with category chips.
• Every decision card now carries consequences: 18 follow-up chains across politics, economy, welfare, integrity, security, diplomacy and resilience — earned by what actually happened, never scripted. Weak choices sting; strong ones pay.

WAR WITHOUT GUESSWORK
• Our-vs-enemy strip: strength, readiness, casualties and infrastructure damage side by side.
• Strike capability vs target defense panels, damage ranges with intelligence-driven confidence, estimated economic damage per target, and an operation-intensity ladder where heavier strikes cost more than they add — diminishing returns you can read before you commit.
• Multiple wars: the selected war expands, the others collapse to one-line scoreboards.
• Conflicts can now be permanently resolved — and you can no longer "mediate" a crisis you are a party to.

SHADOW OPS
• New three-column intelligence layout: spy networks and foreign threats at home; plan and run operations with full probability breakdowns and phase tracking; target dossiers (political, security, financial), after-action reports and grounded recommendations.

ECONOMY & MARKETS
• Commodity balance sheet: production, population-driven consumption, imports, exports, coverage, balance — and domestic prices that spike when demand goes uncovered.
• Credit ratings from all three agencies (Moody's, S&P, Fitch) plus outlook, a bond yield curve, and a full "why you pay this rate" breakdown.
• Company lists with net profit, price change, operating margin and growth, and a real market line chart.
• Sovereign wealth funds: deposits and withdrawals now scale with your economy, and withdrawals retire sovereign debt directly.
• Freight and logistics scores now respond to what you actually build, and every infrastructure project names the indicator it improves.

A CLEANER, FASTER UI
• Every screen now fits its content: no sideways scrolling, no squeezed text, no page over one and a half screens of scroll — with nothing removed. Dense panels collapse to one click and remember your choice.
• Action screens fixed at every window size — policy lists no longer shrink to a sliver.
• Province borders draw cleanly at maximum zoom; alerts retire the moment their crisis is resolved; ministers in a well-run country stop resigning for no reason — and resignations that do happen now cost you.

MULTIPLAYER
• Major netcode hardening: desync detection and elimination, reconnect support, and stability on high-latency connections.
• New Connection Doctor in the lobby: one-click diagnostics for Steam invites, join codes and port setup — copy and share when a friend can't connect.

IN EVERY LANGUAGE
All of the above fully localized in 13 languages, with thousands of new translated strings and dozens of fixed leaks.

World Order: Global PoGame update5 Sep 2026Update 3.2.2 — The Economy AnswersThe two screens you live in got the redesign they deserved. The Production screen is now a true economic dashboard — cost, prices, margin, supply coverage and import sources at a glance, with a preview of what your slider will do before you commit — and expanding production now costs the budget real money, so output is a fiscal decision. The HOME dashboard leads with the numbers that matter. Al…World Order: Global PoGame update5 Sep 2026Update 3.2.1 - The BrinkWars between great powers are now rare and momentous. No conflict can ignite without three announced months at the brink — a window the world (and you) can use to act — and nuclear powers genuinely deter each other: most great-power standoffs freeze into armed confrontation rather than erupting.
