Major Demo Update - The Elements Reforged
A new element system. The elements have been rebuilt from the ground up. Seven now shape every battle: Fire burns Nature, Nature outlasts Ice, Ice stills the Storm, Electricity rules the Wind, and the Wind feeds the Flame. Light and Darkness answer only each other. Electricity is entirely new, and matchups now matter without ever deciding a fight on their own.
Monsters fight true to their nature. A monster using an attack that shares its element hits noticeably harder. Many monsters now carry two elements, and both count: bats ride Darkness and Wind, sun-flowers bloom in Light and Nature, and the three starters each gained a fitting second element, restoring a proper rock-paper-scissors triangle between them. Dual monsters even learn attacks from their second element as they grow.
The card game, remade. The card pool has been rebuilt: dozens of cards redesigned, new cards added, and every card face redrawn with a cleaner layout, proper element and type markers, and fresh portrait art for every monster. Relics and equipment now stand on the battlefield as real objects, and hovering an equipped item shows exactly which monster wears it.
Battles you can actually follow. A clear turn banner announces whose move it is, each phase of a turn introduces itself, and the enemy summoner now waits for the action on screen to finish before playing its next card. Summons get a proper camera moment, attacks and spells across the game have new visual effects, and you can browse your own discard pile any time by clicking it.
And a long list of fixes. Cards respond to clicks properly again, several cards now do exactly what their text says, monster sizes are consistent, and dozens of smaller issues found in playtesting have been cleaned up.
The demo you played last week is a different game. Come see.
