2030 World Cup

The CONMEBOL hosts will now only host their own first match in the finals.

The CONMEBOL hosts are now assigned to Group I, J and L.

The EURO league qualifiers will have a promotion and relegation system in the next update. You should wait until then before you start customizing the event.

World Cup Friendlies

The groups have been increased to six groups, but each team will only play two matches.

Match Venues

In group stages, matches involving no host nations will no longer be assigned randomly across host countries. Instead, each group will be played entirely within a single designated host country.

Group Winner Probabilities

Added a Monte Carlo styled Group Predictor in the "Probabilities" tab. It runs a few hundred simulations to show you the percentage chance each team has of finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or more in their group.

Teams

When you click a team flag, it opens a fullscreen dialog showing the team and their opponent details. This section now uses tabs so you don't have to scroll down to check their past meetings.

Players

Increased the likelihood of strikers scoring.
