We have an important announcement regarding the future of Balkan Shop Simulator.
After reviewing the current state of the game and thinking about where we want to take it next, we have decided to begin the biggest update the game has received so far — a complete gameplay overhaul.
This will not be a small content update.
We are redesigning the core experience and expanding Balkan Shop Simulator into a much deeper business simulation focused around the air-conditioning and HVAC industry.
🏪 RUN YOUR OWN HVAC BUSINESS
The shop will remain an important part of the game, but the business will be completely transformed.
Instead of simply managing a traditional retail store, you will be able to:
• Purchase and stock different air-conditioning systems
• Build and manage your own HVAC showroom
• Help customers choose the correct system for their home or business
• Manage inventory, tools and installation materials
• Accept installation appointments
• Visit customer properties
• Install air conditioners yourself
• Perform maintenance and cleaning
• Diagnose faults and repair broken systems
• Upgrade your equipment and expand your company
• Build your reputation and take on larger and more difficult jobs
🔧 ACTUAL INSTALLATION GAMEPLAY
One of the biggest parts of the overhaul will be the new installation system.
Our goal is to make installation an actual gameplay process rather than simply pressing a button and waiting.
You will have to prepare your tools and materials, choose suitable installation locations, mount indoor and outdoor units, prepare piping and drainage, make the necessary connections, vacuum the system, perform testing and make sure everything works correctly before completing the job.
Incorrect or low-quality work may also have consequences later.

Your equipment will become an important part of running the business.
Different jobs will require tools and materials, and as your company grows you will be able to invest in better professional equipment.
Customers will also be able to contact your company again for:
• Air-conditioner cleaning

• Cooling/heating issues
• Diagnostics
• Repairs
• Component replacement
• Other service work

You will start small, but our long-term goal is to allow you to develop the business into a complete HVAC company with a larger showroom, warehouse, better equipment, more customers and eventually employees and installation teams.
❤️ WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CURRENT GAME?
This overhaul is being developed as a major update to Balkan Shop Simulator.
If you already own the game, you will not need to purchase it again.
The update will be delivered to existing owners when it is ready.
We are also evaluating changes to the game's branding and name to better represent its new direction.
There is currently no release date for the overhaul. We do not want to announce a date before we are confident that the new systems are ready.
Development will be done step by step, and we will share more information, screenshots and development updates as the overhaul progresses.
