### 🧩 The big one
- **"The AI returned no actions. Please click Generate again."** The code reading the AI's reply mangled it before parsing, so tightly-packed answers were destroyed while neatly indented ones survived by luck. Which you got depended on your model. Fixed, and with it the Campaign Generator, Ideas Studio, Balance Studio and the Creator.
### 🔧 World Auditor
- **Instant fixes actually stick now.** Every fix was applied across 43 test worlds and re-scanned. About one in ten came straight back: six separate causes, including refused actions being counted as successes.
- **Three fixes pointed at things that do not exist** (Blast Reach, vehicle speed, army speed) and had never once worked.
- **It could spread one broken character's corruption to your whole cast**, offering to convert 280 healthy characters' XP into the same malformed shape.
- **You are now told what a fix will delete** before it happens. One click could previously remove 45% of a small world with no warning.
- **Ideas no longer sink your grade.** 132 optional suggestions used to force an F on a world with zero critical problems.
- Places wrongly carrying a vehicle component can now be cleaned up; RE-SCAN no longer comes back empty; the map-scale warning stopped crying wolf.
### 🛠️ Creator
- **Drafting several things now really makes several things**, each as a foldable card you can open, edit and fold away by name.
- **The form stopped overwriting the AI's work.** A drafted region used to arrive as a 20x20 foot room on tile 0,0.
- **Inject applies exactly what you approved**, verbatim, instantly and with no AI tokens spent.
- The AI stopped stacking everything it creates on the same tile, and Refine can no longer hang forever.
### 🌍 Campaign Generator
- **Steer each phase before it builds.** Name the continent, set a theme, demand specific content.
- **Choose how many factions of each type**, so "three rival kingdoms" is finally something you can ask for.
### ⚔️ Combat
- **Manual combat no longer freezes on a monster's turn**, and monsters stop standing on top of you and each other.
- **Area attacks have a real blast radius at last.** A fireball used to hit every valid target on the entire map. Now Max Range is how far you cast it and Blast Reach is how far it spreads; range 0 detonates on you.
- **Stances are visible**, and the turn and target rings on the map actually follow the fight.
### 🔨 Crafting
- **Crafting can genuinely fail, on the dice**, using the crafting skills your rulebook already defines. Difficulty scales with what you attempt.
- **It stopped eating your materials for technical failures.** They are spent only when the craft truly happens.
### 🧭 World and Map
- **The engine measures from anything to anything, correctly.** Two cities kingdoms apart used to come back as 55 feet, and a city on another planet as "0.0 tiles, here".
- **NEW: the AI can ask what lies BETWEEN two places**, so rivers, borders and mountains in your story are read from your world instead of invented.
- **"Mushroom Cavern" is no longer read as a Room** because "room" is inside "mushroom". A 300 mile cavern was being built as a 1500 foot one.
### 🏗️ Buildings
- **A building can require another building, and that rule is finally enforced for you.** 209 buildings across 16 worlds carried a requirement your side of the engine never read.
- **NEW: `upgrades_from`** so a project improves what you have instead of building a second one next door. A Watchtower becomes a Keep, keeping its place, people, market and history.
### 🧗 Leveling
- **Build a realm ladder from a form.** One row per tier, no limit, with a live preview of the resulting bands. Multi-tier caps silently did nothing before.
### ✨ Everything else
- Editing a story message no longer destroys its formatting.
- Any location can be turned into a door, and doors say where they lead.
- People stop wandering off mid-conversation, and stop visiting you constantly.
- The AI's audit pass can finally see its own plan, so a story that arrives somewhere the world never moved to is caught.
- **The AI has stopped writing with em-dashes**, and roughly a thousand of them are gone from the interface.
- **Roughly 39 explainer panels** across every window, and the tutorial grew from 59 steps to 71 including manual combat, which it never mentioned.
- Small windows stopped hiding their own content, pinned pictures no longer haunt a new campaign, and Ctrl over the map shows coordinates again.
