Trailblazers: Into the March · published
Hey there Strangers from the internet, I hope life treats you well!
It’s your guy, Arn, realizing that Tacticon has begun and we haven't had the time to thank our hosts for putting that event together nor communicate about it. Oh treacherous days running away like wild horses over the hills. Oh unending tides of work and tasks and duties and things to do.
I will be taking that time now, try to keep it short and address three things : Tacticon, Kickstarter and Playtests.
First things first, many thanks to Hooded Horse and FireSquid for selecting our game in the event! It's a dream come true for me, as the games appearing here compose a significant chunk of my experience as a player. I've sunk countless hours on some of those titles and existing in the same space as them feels like an immense privilege and an honor.
I think steam forbids giving shout outs outside of the context of cross-promotion, so I wouldn't dare. If I were a cat and had 9 lives I would play them all. In the end, I'm just the ultimate groupie and when I can't sleep I dream of roaming the world and do the equivalent of Netflix's Chef's Table but to interview the people behind those games.
Tacticon also brought us another win that made me super happy : An article in Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

It hit me the other night that, in addition to being a groupie, I was also running a business. And that the people roaming the Tacticon event, stumbling on our page, would most probably be my people too.
A 4 A.M. smoke epiphany, watching a shy rain trying to wash the heat away.
So I take this opportunity to remind y'all that we're going to run a Kickstarter at a certain point. The page is being cooked behind the scenes and we have been extremely lucky to be joined by no other person than the one and only Noobert to help on our communication and CM effort. I think it's going to be great, albeit not being the best judge for it. I'm discovering live the amount of work and expertise this type of endeavor demands.

And who says Kickstarter, says playtesting. We already ran some through the previous months, on our discord mostly. But the day will come soon where we open, wave after wave, the door of the closed steam playtest.
So if you're interested in playing the game, pass by the discord and say hello. If you're patient enough, simply subscribe for the playtest on Steam. And if you're even more patient than that, well, we ought to release the game at some point so we hope we'll see you there <3. Voilà! I think I've shared what I needed to share.
