TAKE DOWN THE KORTZ CENTER
The Bell Building inside the Kortz Center houses the Albert Crisp Collection: a curated selection of fine art ranging from antiquities of exotic provenance to works from contemporary masters. Mr. Faber’s clientele are interested in a rotating selection of Primary Targets stored inside the Center’s vault, too rare and prized to display to the public.
Accessing these vaulted treasures will require bypassing state-of-the-art defenses including first-rate security teams, watchful CCTV cameras, and intersecting laser tripwires. Scoping out these measures and preparing the ideal approach is left to your discretion. Whatever you decide, professional hustler Raf De Angelis will be in your ear to help as you prepare to execute an art theft par excellence.
While the Primary Target is the main attraction, the vault and displays in the Bell Building also contain discretionary Secondary Targets that can be swiped to fatten up your final take. Stealing these will require you to infiltrate the Center’s security even further, and some will require additional hands along with ample bag space to depart with your haul intact.
Ultimately, you can decide if you want to sell the Primary Target or keep it for yourself to display inside your Mansion.
ADDITIONS & RENOVATIONS
Upgrade your Mansion with the Art Studio, a versatile new space that serves as your base of operations for this Heist. Once acquired, expert counterfeiter Yong-Rae will begin creating convincing replicas to replace your Primary Targets so that Kortz Center staff will be none the wiser.
Set yourself up for further success by fully upgrading the grounds of your Mansion. An Armory will add a powerful Mk II weapon to each of your Heist loadouts, while the Vehicle Workshop will improve performance for certain getaway vehicles. Your personal Security staff will aid in distracting police during your escape, reducing your Wanted level.
Plus, many existing properties and resources can provide helpful benefits while you're in the heat of the Finale. Owning a Bunker adds Special Ammo and Upgrades to the Mk II weapon included with the Mansion Armory, while owning an Agency, the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory, or a Terrorbyte grants additional time to steal the Primary Target Painting in the Vault. Having an Arcade Drone Station will make its Nano Drones available to assist during the Finale.
You’ll need the Art Studio to host and launch The Kortz Center Heist, but you can join up as a member of a Heist crew without owning a Mansion (GTA+ Members can also still get a GTA$2,000,000 discount on any Mansion property). Assembling a team is entirely optional, although teaming up will allow you to access a Secondary Target room beyond the reach of solo thieves, while more duffels will increase your maximum take.
Gear will accumulate in the Art Studio as you complete prep and planning, and team members can select their own loadouts for the Finale.
