We’ve just released Update 4 for Low-Budget Repairs.
This time, we focused on the save system, mission progression, hanging objects, optimization, and another batch of issues reported by you.
We reworked hanging objects on walls and ceilings - players now have more control over them, and they should no longer accidentally clip into other objects
We made numerous improvements to the save system - including saving painted walls and assembled objects such as the sculpture
We eliminated many cases where completed objectives could incorrectly become unchecked again
Added new sounds
Slightly reworked the It’s getting hot there and Model citizen missions to make them more intuitive
Added protection against getting stuck if the player falls under the map
Added numerous optimization and visual fixes
Added further translation and localization improvements
We fixed issues where:
the game could crash when entering an apartment
walls above the garage door could not be painted
painting and plastering objectives could become incomplete again after loading a save
players could get stuck in One More Time and Broken balcony
switches could duplicate inside the car trunk
theft could be incorrectly counted in Door to a better future
assembling the sofa from the player’s house could give you the wrong model
collectibles could completely disappear from the Collectible Cabinet
the player could fall under the map while cutting tiles
the player would automatically stand up after cutting a tile, which caused other tiles to break
We also fixed:
glass breaking in the player’s house
incorrect information displayed on magazines
Zbyszek’s position in Broken balcony
assembling some store catalog items with the screwdriver
the missing tutorial in First job
some blurry textures on high graphics settings
Thanks for all the reports and feedback ❤️
We’re continuing to work on more fixes. 🔧
