Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam · published · build 24927158
Hello everyone,
Today we're releasing Early Access Update #7 for Beyond Enemy Lines: Vietnam.
This update expands multiplayer with the new Gunfight game mode, introduces manual leaning, improves the Server Browser and multiplayer scoreboards, and updates the spectator experience.
We've also made further improvements to prone behavior and several underlying gameplay systems.
A new multiplayer game mode has been added: Gunfight.
Gunfight is a focused 1v1 round-based PvP mode built around direct engagements between two players.
At the beginning of each round, both players receive the same randomly selected loadout, creating an even playing field where positioning, reaction time, accuracy, and adapting to different weapons become the deciding factors.
With no teammates to rely on, every round comes down to the duel between you and your opponent.
The changing loadouts ensure that matches remain varied and require players to master more than just their preferred weapons.
Players can now manually lean left and right while on foot.
The controls are unbound by default, so players who want to use manual leaning can assign their preferred keys in the Controls Menu.
We're also working on expanding the leaning system with an optional Auto Lean feature, which will automatically lean the player when aiming around suitable corners. Auto Lean is planned for an upcoming update.
Because both options will be available, we're leaving the manual lean bindings up to each player rather than assigning additional keys by default.
Multiplayer scoreboards are now automatically sorted by player score.
Players with the highest score are displayed at the top of the scoreboard, making match performance easier to read at a glance.
The Server Browser can now be sorted by Player Count.
This makes it easier to quickly find populated servers and join active multiplayer matches.
We've updated several parts of the spectator experience.
Updated the Spectator UI for improved clarity and usability
Improved the Spectator Camera for smoother and more intuitive spectating
We've continued improving the game's prone logic.
This includes further adjustments to prone transitions and how the system handles movement and nearby obstacles.
As always, thank you for playing Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam and for continuing to send us your feedback.
More updates are already in development.
