The date is locked: Funguys Swarm hits Version 1.0 on August 25 at 9 a.m. PT.
For the first time, Funguys is also coming to consoles. Alongside Steam and the Epic Games Store, Version 1.0 launches day one on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and the Xbox app on PC.

Version 1.0 is the biggest version of Funguys Swarm yet, with new ways to build your Funguys, grow stronger between runs, and battle through increasingly chaotic encounters.
Here is a taste of what’s coming:
A new final arena where you can put your strongest builds to the ultimate test
The Forest Strength system, a new form of meta-progression that lets you carry power between runs
New playable characters with their own abilities, animations, quirks, and playstyles
Twitch integration that lets chat interfere with your game live
New skills, treelings, and relics for even more powerful and ridiculous combinations

We will share the complete Version 1.0 rundown, including more details, numbers, and footage, closer to launch.
On July 24 at 9 a.m. PT, the Steam Early Access price will increase from US$6.99 to US$9.99. The console versions will also launch at US$9.99.
Existing owners will receive the complete Version 1.0 update at no additional cost.
Steam requires 30 days between a price increase and a discount. Making this change now allows us to offer a Steam launch discount when Version 1.0 arrives on August 25. We will announce the discount details closer to release.
