Patch 1.0.7 is now live!
This update focuses on expedition balance, performance, and player-reported issues.
We found a bug where larger expedition crews did not properly increase Water, Food, and Material rewards.
Worse, sending survivors away reduced camp production, which could lower your expedition haul.
That is now fixed.
Survivors on expedition now contribute their gathering ability while traveling.
Bigger crew = bigger haul.
Added:
• 6 Hours
• 12 Hours
• 24 Hours
The existing 30 sec, 7.5 min, 30 min, and 3 hour options remain.
Rewards scale directly with time, so longer trips are not more profitable per hour. They simply let you send a crew out, go offline, and return later without constantly restarting expeditions.
A 12-hour expedition can now chart a new area.
The game previously had no frame-rate cap, which could cause some systems to run at extremely high FPS.
Settings now includes a Frame Rate option.
Default: 60 FPS
Set your own limit or leave it blank for unlimited.
Progression is based on real elapsed time, not FPS, so this will not slow down the game.
Several systems that were checking every rendered frame have been cleaned up, reducing unnecessary CPU/GPU usage.
Charting progress was not being lost, but the game sometimes failed to tell you when a new area was discovered.
Every charted area is now properly reported.
• Corrected expedition guide text
• Updated charting requirement from 24h to 12h
• Removed outdated settlement text
• Fixed expedition lines ignoring language settings
Thanks for the reports. Several fixes in this patch came directly from player feedback.
Keep it coming.
