After a long journey of development, testing, bug fixing, and countless hours of work, Minenumbing is finally officially released on Steam! This is a very special milestone for me, and I’m incredibly happy to finally share the game with everyone.
Minenumbing is a hand-drawn Tower Defense game where you build powerful turrets using bombs while fighting alongside them with a magical pencil. This isn't just a game where you place turrets and sit back while they do all the work. You will constantly have to make important decisions:
- Which turret should you build?
- Which turret should you upgrade first?
- How should you manage your resources?
- How can you combine different effects and abilities to deal with each type of enemy?
Throughout your journey, you will have access to different types of turrets, each with their own roles, mechanics, and unique ways of contributing to your defense. Experiment with different builds, upgrade your turrets, and discover the strategies that work best for you. Your decisions will shape your defense and determine whether you can survive the challenges ahead.
Unlike traditional Tower Defense games, you aren't just an observer standing behind your defenses. You can directly participate in the battle using your devine pencil. Move around the battlefield, attack enemies, use your abilities, and support your turrets when they need you the most. When everything starts falling apart, sometimes you will be the difference between victory and defeat.
Every wave brings new challenges. As you progress, you'll encounter different types of enemies, from common foes to stronger enemies and more challenging encounters. You'll need to constantly adapt your strategy, optimize your defenses, and make the most of every advantage available to you. The deeper you go, the more important your decisions become.
Minenumbing is more than just a traditional Tower Defense game. As you play, you'll discover various systems, upgrades, effects, and different ways to combine your strengths. Experiment. Make mistakes. Discover new strategies. And create your own way of playing. Sometimes, a strategy that seems completely useless at first might turn out to be the key to overcoming a difficult challenge.
Minenumbing is an indie project made with a huge amount of time, effort, and passion.
From the earliest ideas and prototypes, through countless iterations, bug fixes, late nights, and development milestones, the journey has been a long one. That's why I want to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has followed Minenumbing's development, added the game to their wishlist, played the demo or testing builds, sent feedback and reported bugs, and those who have supported this indie project, or simply taken the time to check out Minenumbing. Every Wishlist, every review, every piece of feedback, and every bit of support means a lot to me.
