The new expansion is being developed in cooperation with British developer Rhys McCollin and takes players to the UK capital, London.
Following the already released Hamburg City DLC and the announced Lübeck DLC, the game world is expanding with another major European city. The new DLC recreates large parts of South and Central London, including the boroughs of Westminster and Lambeth.
The route network includes Transport for London routes 2, 507, 77, 88, 148, 196, and the night route N2. At launch, routes 2 and 507 will be fully drivable, while the other routes will already be partially implemented and will expand the interconnected London network.
The bus depots are also based on their real-world counterparts. Players will be able to start their shifts at the authentically recreated Norwood, Stockwell, or Waterloo depots.
An additional fictional fourth depot is being created specifically for the game's economic mode and will be tailored to the gameplay mechanics of The Bus.
The routes connect numerous well-known districts and transport hubs, including Brixton, Vauxhall, London Marylebone, London Victoria, and London Waterloo.
In total, the DLC will feature more than 16 kilometres of road network, over 200 individually designed buildings and landmarks, as well as more than 300 custom-made city assets that reflect the distinctive streetscape of the British capital.
The plan is already in place to further expand the scope of The Bus DLC – London South through free updates after release. Details about future additions will be announced as development progresses.

The Bus DLC – London South is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and is planned for release in 2027. This means the expansion will be coming not only to PC but also to the current generation of consoles.
A specific release date has not yet been announced.
