Tormentum II · published · build 24500634

This update focuses on stability, bug fixes, and visual improvements across the game.
Fixed an issue where the “Constructive Criticism” achievement would not unlock for some players after destroying six paintings. The fix also applies to existing save files - affected players can unlock it by inspecting a painting again.
Fixed a rare issue where the inventory could remain inaccessible after returning from a close-up view. Existing save files affected by this issue will be automatically repair themselves when loaded.
Cursor and Camera Fix
Fixed an issue that could cause the mouse cursor or camera to continuously move toward the upper-left corner.
The issue was first reported on a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 and an Alienware gaming PC. After investigation, we found that it was caused by installed 3Dconnexion software (used by devices such as SpaceMouse and SpaceNavigator), rather than by the computer models themselves.
This fix should resolve the issue for anyone using a 3Dconnexion device - or anyone who previously used one and still has its software installed.
Standard mouse, gamepad, and Steam Deck controls remain unaffected.
Improved animated fog transitions when moving between locations.
Fixed a brief visual gap that could appear before the fog transition started, especially on slower systems.
Fixed an occasional flicker during scene transitions while animated fog effects were loading.
Various graphical improvements.
Various localization improvements.
Added a new Maximum subtitle size option for improved readability, especially on Steam Deck.
Fixed an issue that could cause the resolution selection list to appear blank on some PC configurations.
Fixed the game version number not being displayed correctly on the Steam Deck credits screen.
Fixed a visual alignment issue in the Face Gate puzzle that could occur after rotating the wheels many times.
Thank you all for your bug reports, feedback, and patience. Every report helps us make Tormentum II better. ❤️
