A major clarity pass across the entire story: every chapter's tutorial and narrative text has been rewritten for readability, and Chapter 2 through Chapter 6 got a full difficulty rebalance. Iron Curtain's tutorial is clearer about what actually happens when it blocks a hit, and now shows the reflected shot flying back to destroy the attacker instead of just a damage number.
New features:
- Iron Curtain counter-hits now play a visible projectile flying back from the shield to the attacking drone, making it clear the attack is being reflected and not just absorbed.
Polish & bug fixes:
- Rewrote tutorial and narrative text across every chapter for clarity, with a focus on Chapter 1 and the Iron Curtain tutorial in particular, which no longer references an unrelated patrol and now ends its forced move at a cleaner stopping point.
- Full rebalance pass across Chapters 2-6: adjusted drone levels, the level-growth formula, and the overlevel penalty for a smoother difficulty curve, including a reworked Chapter 6 finale encounter.
- Fixed a bug where a bystander drone could fire twice off a single player action if a move ended within range and immediately chained into an auto-attack.
- Fixed the unit info dialog sometimes popping up mid-drag when placing a movement target, if your finger lingered too long after moving off the unit.
- Removed decorative warning-sign props that looked like broken/glitched tiles but had no gameplay purpose; replaced with debris piles.
- Updated the Chapter 3 Stage 1 key visual.
