Today I'm happy to introduce the first decorative DLC for Teddy's Haven: Kindred Spirits Pack.
This is a optional DLC that does not lock any gameplay features, quests, or content behind a purchase. Instead, it's for those who would like to support the continued development of Teddy's Haven and help make future updates even bigger and better.
Kindred Spirits Pack
The Kindred Spirits Pack is a simple way to support the future of Teddy's Haven.
Your support helps fund real artists, designers, and other talented people who make it possible to create new features, content, artwork, and improvements more quickly. Every purchase goes directly toward helping bring more wonderful people onto the project.
This pack includes two miniature, poseable decorative statues:
Teddy Bear
The Pomeranian who inspired Teddy's Haven.
Maverick
A loyal wolf companion who stands beside Teddy as his protector.
Find them in the Book of Summoning > Decorations.
Both decorations can be resized and posed, making them a cozy addition to any shop, home, or garden.
Why Create DLC?
To be honest, I want to bring more talented people onto the project to help support development.
My goal is simple: create more content, more stories, more features, and more reasons for players to enjoy the world of Ursa. Every bit of support helps make that possible and goes directly toward the people helping bring those ideas to life.
Why Teddy?
Well... the game is named after him.
There are already hidden Teddys throughout the world. If you fly high enough, you may even notice that one of the landmasses resembles his silhouette.
For those who knew Teddy, and for those who know me, seeing more of him just feels right.
He was an incredible little dog with more confidence than most creatures ten times his size. He loved being around people, and if he could see a house decorated with fifty miniature versions of himself, I am absolutely convinced he would approve.
Is Any Content Locked?
No.
The only items included in this pack are the two decorative statues.
All gameplay features, updates, quests, and future content will continue to be available to everyone. This pack simply offers a way for those who are able and interested to provide additional support.
Will There Be More Teddy Content?
Of course.
The sleeping Teddy and Maverick can still be found in the world, and there are future stories and discoveries planned involving both of them.
This pack is simply a fun way to bring a little more of their spirit into your shop.
