Why are we hosting an extended playtest so soon?
A few reasons…
We had, by far, the largest attendance for any playtest this past weekend, and we feel now’s a great time to experiment with expanding the playtest window.
We weren’t quite ready for the massive turnout this past weekend, and players dealt with some server struggles at the start of the playtest. We believe we have those problems solved, but we want to test our approach.
Our community (that’s you!) has shared again and again that you want more playtesting Tyr, and so do we.
Important note: this playtest will not include any new content. It’ll run on the same build as the most recent playtest, and we’ll only have Standard Queues open for the duration to ensure server stability.
If you’re not already a playtester for Tyr, you’ve got two ways in:
Request access on Steam. It’s random, but we admit players in growing waves ahead of each playtest.
Ask for an invite in our Discord. Our community has access to invites that provide instant playtest admission.
See you on the battlefield. 🫡
