The horde
A new kind of wave: thousands of enemies instead of a dozen. They move as one solid front, flow around the rocks and close in from both sides.
The whole convoy works on the horde: turrets, cannons, mines, ramming.
The minimap shows which side it is sweeping in from, and the HUD has its own bar for how much of it is left.
Raiders have no horde: they still bring people and vehicles.
Four places instead of one
The Wasteland
— mesas and plateaus you can climb.
The Arctic
— frozen lakes that send anything driving onto them sliding.
The Swamp
— water, fog and mud that is hard to get out of.
The Dead Forest
— log jams and a rusted zone.
Every place looks and plays its own way, instead of being the same map with a fresh coat of paint.
The map
Terrain and objects have been redrawn: the wasteland finally looks like a place, not a backdrop.
Real objects by the roadside instead of grey placeholder boxes.
The convoy drives straight into them: shoves them around, drags them along, leaves ruts behind.
Weapons
You can finally see the shots: muzzle flash, tracer, impact spark.
The cannon got a role of its own: it fires backwards along the track, without stopping, with canister or high-explosive shells.
Mines are now solid objects and trigger on the horde.
Fixed: the cannon car was mounting a regular turret instead of the cannon.
Crew and objectives
The crew now has roles and named specialists.
The observation post comments on what is happening out loud, in six languages.
All objectives are collected in one list, visible on the globe and on the pause screen.
Objects along the route
Supply points, shelters and stations have been redrawn and glow in the dark.
Each one has its own interaction card, fully localised.
Salvaging only starts on your order.
Interface
Separate save and load windows.
Camp and menus work with a gamepad.
Objective bars are lined up in a row and no longer overlap.
The minimap is smooth now.
Fixed: minimap markers left a trail behind them while parked.
Performance
No more stutter during the first minute of combat.
Framerate no longer depends on zoom.
An FPS cap has been added to the settings.
On Steam Deck, with the cap off, 200+ FPS.

Update 0.14.0: Crew — the rescued get to work
Crew: the rescued get to work Until now, rescued survivors just rode in the locomotive back to base. Now they work — right in the run, from the second you pull them out of a shelter. What it is The crew is the people riding with you right now. Pull someone out mid-run — they immediately take a post along the locomotive and get to work. Bring them to the end of the sector — they step off at the…
