We are excited to share the Monster Alchemy Roadmap!

To give you a clear look at what’s coming, we’ve broken our development plans into four phases. We're aiming for roughly three months per phase, though exact timing may shift as development progresses.

Phase 1

  • New Room: The Forge - Craft equipment to boost your monsters' stats. Certain gear will offer custom effects that act like a second passive skill.

  • UI & Quality of Life - Smoother menu navigation, monster search filters (Type, Tier, Mutation), and controls rebinding alongside blur reduction and camera smoothness settings.

  • Quest Tab Overhaul - Redesigned to feature unique progression items (like Coliseum Emblems), improved map markers, and clear tags separating main and side quests.

  • World Expansion - Finishing touches on the current Early Access zone, plus 2 New Zones featuring a major new city and a new Coliseum.

Phase 2

  • New Room: Tech-Based Summoning - A brand-new summoning method focused on technology, expanding the roster with new Energy-Type monsters.

  • Energy-Type Generic Fusions - Dedicated generic fusions for Energy types (Currently are treated as Neutral type).

  • Alchemist Tower Upgrade - Assigning monsters to rooms will now trigger extra passive effects based on their element and type.

  • New Tower UI: A streamlined interface to effortlessly manage monster room assignments and quickly teleport the player between rooms.

  • World Expansion - 3 New Zones featuring branching paths you can explore in any order.

Phase 3

  • New Room: Skill Trainer - Craft consumables that teach monsters new abilities. Each monster gets 1 custom skill slot, opening up deeper combat and team building.

  • World Expansion - Continuation of the branching paths from Phase 2, along with 2 New Coliseums.

  • Tier 3 Generic Fusions - Combining Tier 3 monsters will now correctly yield Tier 3 fusion results based on their types, instead of scaling down to Tier 2.

Phase 4

  • New Room: Soul Distiller - Convert monsters into equippable gems to transfer their original passive skills to other monsters.

  • Endgame & Beyond - The final main story zones, 1 New Coliseum, and the start of postgame content.

Future Features & Ideas We have plenty of ideas brewing outside of these main phases, including extra battle challenges, more rooms, and hidden secrets. With your continued support, we hope to build out a massive experience!

Thank you for playing and supporting Monster Alchemy!
