v0.32.0 deepens the lives you watch and retunes the Long Winter.
A plea by name. A person may now step forward and ask you, by name, for what they need. Answer, refuse, or let the moment pass — the world remembers every outcome, and an answered soul may take up a deed of their own.
The Long Winter cools in waves. The great cold now arrives in stages — hard bites, long retreats, even a false spring — so an age has room to breathe between its trials.
Powers wear their names. Every power on the bar now shows its name (hide them in Settings → Display), the flyout explains what each power does, and an overfilled blessing says so plainly.
Honest casting. A cast aimed at land already brimming no longer drags it back down, and a cast that changes nothing is no longer recorded as an act.
Time holds for a plea. When a soul steps forward to plead by name, time now pauses until you set it moving again — a plea can no longer slip past at high speed. (Settings → Gameplay can turn this off.)
A more legible world. Every power now wears its own hand-authored art, the new Key to the World (the key button, top right) explains every mark the world draws, chronicle lines carry their shape glyphs for everyone, and narrow windows tuck the toolbars in neatly.
Continuing an older age: a world kept by an earlier version re-lives its chronicle under these new rules — the retelling may differ from the age you left, and that first load takes longer, once. Finished ages and their scores are untouched.
