v0.31 turns an age into something you can revisit, keep, and share. Watch its whole history unfold in forty-five seconds, or save one final image of the world your hand made.
Watch Epoch Timelapse. From Pause or The Saga So Far, replay the age from its first instant to the present. A story camera follows the world while Chronicle headlines and the marks of your interventions return in their proper years. Pause, resume, replay, or leave at any time.
Save a Share Card. Create a fixed 16:9 PNG with the final map, world and seed, build era, years endured, peak population, soul-years, and up to three Chronicle highlights. A reproducible age also carries an “Outlast me” challenge.
Honest memories. New saves record the engine era that made their history. Older saves still open normally, but Vonkelveld will not invent a plausible replay when their past cannot be reconstructed faithfully; the truthful final-world card remains available.
Private by default. New Settings controls let you inspect or delete local session statistics. Anonymous sharing remains off unless you explicitly allow it, and no telemetry endpoint is bundled—so without one configured, nothing is sent.
Presentation polish. Reduced Motion uses a calm overview during playback, cancellation restores the exact camera and clock you left, and internal Chronicle styling marks no longer appear as square glyphs in plain-text memories.
Existing ages carry forward. Epoch Timelapse stays inside Vonkelveld, and sharing exports a PNG only—this update does not add video encoding or a player-facing video exporter.
