Today VantGrid reaches 1.0.
VantGrid is peer-to-peer (P2P) chat for voice and text. There's no server of mine in the middle reading your messages or selling your habits — your conversations travel directly between your devices, encrypted. Your identity is a key that lives on your machine, not an account I control.
Today's industry treats people as the product — "free" apps that quietly sell who you are. I wanted the opposite: software you buy once, that respects your data because it never collects it. I'm not trying to beat any one company — only the ones that profit from exploiting their users.
And because VantGrid has no central server, no one can shut it down from above. It stays alive as long as a single person keeps using it. That's the promise.
VantGrid Plus is an optional, one-time add-on for personalization. Never a subscription, and it never gates your privacy or the features that matter — it just helps fund the project.
To the testers, and to everyone who believed in this: thank you. This is only the beginning.
