There is someone on your desktop now.
Jack is a little yellow assistant who sits in the corner and comments on your
run. He is not helpful. He is occasionally helpful by accident.
He watches specifics. He notices the 7 you just took. He notices you
put four tiles in the Slip. He notices which Token you bought and exactly how
much you paid for it. He notices when you have been staring at the same tile
for a while, and he will tell you it is not going to move.
If he is too much, he is adjustable. Settings → Desktop Assistant has
Off, Occasional and Chatty. Occasional keeps him to the
moments that matter. Chatty lets him fill the silence.
This one is worth being plain about. Four Tokens never worked at all:
All four are targeted Tokens, and the targeting step was never being reached.
Clicking them did nothing — no target prompt, no effect. The Token stayed in
your tray, but the Cash you spent on it bought you nothing.
All four now work as described. Two of them are among the most expensive
Tokens in the game, so if you bought one and wondered what you did wrong: you
did nothing wrong.
