Hello friends! It's been a long while since we posted an update. Things have been crazy over here as we work our butts off to get AWAYSIS ready to ship before the end of the year.
The awesome folks over at MinnMax came to visit us earlier this year to shoot a mini-documentary to showcase how the Grimlins are made, and all the awesome inspirations that have come together to create the world of AWAYSIS. Part travelogue, part behind-the-scenes look at game development, we are super pleased to share our story. Please check it out and post it around.
I really want to stress on a personal level how awesome it is that MinnMax are showing indie devs doing their thing. I think it can be pretty easy to forget that there are talented individuals behind making the games that we all love, and these sorts of videos gives a real insight into how the sausage is made. I am super proud of all our team members, and hearing them explain what they are doing on the project really gives me a boost during these final hours while we polish up the game.
We have some other exciting stuff planned in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. And if you want to come talk to us directly, we have a Discord server where we will be chatting a little more often now that we are getting some breathing room.
