Offline Mode is Coming to Cloudheim this week!

Cloudheim · published

Since Cloudheim launched into Early Access, there’s been one request we’ve heard more than any other:

Offline Mode.

You’ve asked in Steam reviews. You’ve asked on Discord. You’ve asked in the forums. You’ve asked in comments. You’ve asked us directly.

You’ve even asked us with memes (which I really enjoyed and totally did not use to harass encourage our team).

Ignore the weird Steam carousel formatting, I tried.

And now, we can finally say:

Offline Mode is coming to Cloudheim on August 19th!

And That’s Not All...

We’ve got a new update arriving alongside offline mode, with new weapons, decor, improvements, bug fixes, and more.

New Community Weapons ⚔️

A few new weapons are making their way into Cloudheim the design y’all voted on!

The Runic Chakram is coming to the game, based on the winning design from our community weapon contest!

And we’re also adding three new weapons inspired by winners from our Chinese community weapon contest:

  • Tang Heng Dao — complete with a new skill!

  • Ring Pommel Dao

  • Baat Jaam Do (Butterfly Swords)

Plus, More Good Stuff

The update also includes new decor for your Homestead, including frog masks, wooden planks, and fishing supplies, along with a whole bunch of improvements and fixes based on your feedback.

A few highlights:

  • 💬 Inventory items stack to 9,999 now in the Bifrost Chest

  • 💬 A new setting to control camera shake strength

  • 💬 Emotes can now be rebound

  • 💬 Tall Shelves can now hold stacks of 30

  • 💬 Improvements to save data and shop performance that should reduce autosave hitching for long-running saves

  • 💬 Shoppers will no longer steal your stuff when they can’t figure out how to reach the checkout counter. They’ll drop it and leave instead.

  • Made the Quarry Guardian fight harder on Challenging and Unforgiving difficulties, with new attacks on Unforgiving

Finally, the Greeball Games will end with this update!

Thank you for continuing to tell us what you want to see from Cloudheim - whether that’s through feedback, weapon designs, bug reports, or increasingly elaborate memes.

See you in the clouds!
