The Itch Has a Date: Launching 11 September

Ball Scratch Simulator · published

The world's premier public ball-scratching experience is almost ready to become a real product that Steam will actually allow you to purchase.

A FOUNDING CHIBI FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WERE HERE FIRST

Everyone who owns Ball Scratch Simulator on or before 30 September 2026 receives Founding Fidget, an exclusive Founding Chibi.

She comes with her own voice line and a gold-and-burgundy confetti burst, because poor decisions deserve ceremony.

WHAT IS IN THE FIRST SCRATCH?

  • Six terrible places to do this - each with its own witnesses, routines, pressure and humiliating failure potential.

  • Single-player and online multiplayer for up to four players - with bots available when your friends have standards.

  • Global high scores and Weekly Challenges - for anyone who believes this should become competitive.

  • Collectible scene cards and chibis - proof that you were there, you scratched, you panicked and somehow decided it was worth remembering.

  • Desktop and optional seated PC VR support - including a stable 1080p VR Streamer Mode spectator view.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER LAUNCH?

Launch is the first terrible decision, not the last one.

Our first updates will focus on player reports, performance, comfort and balance. Once the immediate launch work is under control, the mysterious origins of the itch will continue through planned free content updates.

Also on our post-launch list:

  • More places to get caught and unravel the story. Uncover the itches origin.

  • New challenge modifiers.

  • More collectible cards and chibis for poor choices.

  • Possible hand and sleeve cosmetics.

These plans may change or be updated, especially from player feedback.

THANK YOU FOR ENCOURAGING THIS

Thank you to the playtesters, wishlisters, survey respondents and everyone who saw the premise and clicked Follow instead of calling someone.

WHY WOULD YOU PLAY THIS?

Because the itch is there.
Because nobody is looking.
Because one more scratch might be the run.
