Hello Pizza Makers! 👨🍳🍕
First of all, a huge THANK YOU for the fantastic reception of Italian Pizza Simulator! ❤️ We’re incredibly happy to see so many of you playing the game, sharing your thoughts and sending us feedback.
We’ve been reading your comments and reports and we’ve just released a new update with a bunch of fixes and quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback!
🔧 Patch Notes:
- Changed the amount of basil required for Basil Pesto, so there should be less clicking involved and your mice and controllers won't have to work quite as hard.
- Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause the guide line shown on the pizza while decorating it (applying sauce and toppings) to display incorrectly or not appear at all.
- You can no longer take a pizza out of a box after placing it on the serving counter and send an empty box to the customer. That prank is officially over.
- Order types (flavor-based and quantity-based) should now be generated more evenly. You should no longer end up with a whole list of randomly generated orders consisting entirely of flavor-based orders or entirely of quantity-based ones. Of course, you can still reject any non-mission orders you don't want to complete.
- Pizzas should no longer generate with impossible ingredient quantity requirements. For example, ingredients such as Parmesan, which comes in 15g portions, should no longer be requested in amounts that can't actually be reached using those portions. Math should no longer be one of your enemies in the game.
- Pizzas should no longer generate with absurdly large amounts of ingredients, such as 300g of pepperoni or cheese - no matter how appetizing that may sound.
- All customers are now a little less strict when it comes to flavors they dislike or avoid. They have been given a small tolerance for those flavors, so ingredients or sauces containing trace amounts of a disliked flavor tag should no longer become completely unusable for that customer.
- Gastronorm containers now display the name of the ingredient inside on their side, so you no longer have to guess, memorize everything, or hover over every single container just to find out what's inside.
- Dough taken out of gastronorm containers should no longer freeze the game when trying to roll it out.
- Fixed an issue that could make it impossible to hand in a pizza required for a quest. In some cases, players could get ahead of the quest and serve the pizza earlier than intended. Then, when the quest later asked for the pizza to be handed in, there was no one left to give it to because the customer was no longer waiting at the counter. In such cases, the quest should now complete automatically so it no longer blocks further progress. Additionally, quests that require making and serving a specific pizza will now prevent that pizza from being handed in before all required steps leading up to it have been completed.
- Potential fix for a visual bug that could sometimes show ingredients in the order summary that weren't actually present on the pizza. The pizza itself was still evaluated correctly, but occasionally a red-highlighted "ghost ingredient" could appear on the list.
Thank you again for all your feedback and support! ❤️ Keep sending us your thoughts and reports - they’re incredibly helpful as we continue improving Italian Pizza Simulator.
See you soon,
Italian Pizza Simulator Team
