RIDGERUNNERS is a first-person speedrunning game about building absurd momentum across enormous mountains. Ski down steep slopes, carve across mountain faces, air-strafe around peaks, launch yourself with weapons and use your jetpack to turn a bad landing into a faster line.
The demo gives everyone the same full-sized mountain to master with two distinct routes:
Sprint - one flat-out run to the finish.
Ridge - a longer route through multiple checkpoints.
The terrain, hazards and weather play out consistently on every restart. Learn the map, experiment with new lines and keep cutting seconds from your time.
Start with the Guided Run, which teaches the movement systems during one continuous ride across the mountain. Focused lessons are also available when you want to practise an individual technique.
Once you know the basics, give the Sprint and Ridge routes a go, or just fly around the map and see how fast you can get!
Every finish can earn a medal, improve your personal best and move you up the global leaderboard. Race against ghosts, watch other riders’ runs and study the lines that produced the fastest times.
How fast can you make it down?
Download the demo, post your best Ridge or Sprint time in the comments, and let us know how the game runs on your machine.
RIDGERUNNERS will be part of Steam Next Fest from 19–26 October, before launching in Early Access during November 2026
