Very excited to share that When the Embers Wake has been selected for the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2026 (ASFF) as part of this year’s Games Lab Official Selection!
It feels especially lovely to see the game continuing its festival journey after also being featured at the indie Live Expo.
When the Embers Wake started as a small story about Emmie, her mother, and the fragile world around them, so seeing it reach audiences through events like these means a lot to us. We’ll be heading to York this November for ASFF , and we can’t wait to share more of the game with everyone there.
